One of the sneakiest mistakes I see business owners make is building desire for more content rather than for their offer. And here’s how it happens:

  • Giving detailed how-tos & step-by-step processes
  • Sharing tips and tricks to try
  • Showing them the dos and don’ts

And yeah, sure, your audience will eat it up, save it, tell you how much they loved it, but all this type of content does is build desire for your next valuable piece of content, not your offer.

It’s defeating AF because all that positive feedback & validation makes it feel like surelyyyy that next client is on the way, but they aren’t. They’re just waiting for that next post.

How do I know? This was me for my first 2 years in business. Overgiving, enjoying the validation, but not getting clients.
